The purpose of the workshop method is to assist innovations and RDI projects systematically assess their societal readiness and develop strategies to achieve their societal impact goals. The SRL assessment scale provides a structured framework for evaluating and planning the societal engagement journey.

Any tools that are free of use can be edited and shared under Creative Commons license.

The purpose of the tool

Foresight tools 720 uses PESTLE factors in order to co-create a joint vision of a likely future.

  • To support RDI projects/innovations to assess and advance their innovation’s societal readiness level​
  • The tool helps to identify the current readiness level of the innovation, define the target readiness level, and outline measures to reach the target SRL
